Bean & Bailey "As Seen On" America's Got Talent. January 4 at 7 PM!
The Pickens County Performing Arts Center and the South Carolina Entertainment Hall of Fame proudly present Bean and Bailey! You may recognize them from America's Got Talent, Disney Cruises, or Satellite XM Radio!
This show will kickoff our first ever comedy series at the PC PAC! Every first Saturday of the month from August through February we will bring in comedians from throughout the Upstate that will leave you wanting more!
The Bean and Bailey show includes everything from stand-up comedy to musical songs and parodies, all wrapped up in a quirky friendship between Bean (an organized conservative personality) and Bailey (a random free spirit). They discuss all the important things of life, such as Wal-Mart Greeters, American History, Love, Dating, Marriage, Kids, Doughnuts, Michael Jackson, Elvis, and The Bible, just to name a few.
Bean & Bailey believe that Humor is a gift from God that brings people together. Laughter tightens bonds, helps rebuild relationships, and it breaks down barriers so that we can listen.
Showtimes are Saturday, January 4 at 7 PM! Doors open at 6 PM!

A production of the Carolina Country Music Association, an industry trade group representing country music performers, songwriters and fans in the Carolinas, the Carolina Country Music Awards is an annual event open to performers who grew up in or now reside in North Carolina or South Carolina. The show’s Executive Producer is Sweet Tea, who is also the afternoon DJ on Carolina Country (100.1 WFAY in Fayetteville and 93.9 WMIR in Myrtle Beach). According to Sweet Tea, “I think there are a lot of great artists who aren’t typically heard on the Radio. The CCMAs give those musicians an opportunity to be recognized for their hard work.” She also says that country music fans aren’t neglected because the show is also a way for fans to connect with the musicians. “It’s a big party for both the artists and the fans. Everybody gets to enjoy some great ‘Carolina roots’ music.” Tickets to the show are on sale now at www.CarolinaCountryMusicAwards.com.

One out of every five children in the United States has dyslexia, and are not capable of learning inside the public education system.
These are smart kids, talented kids, and they possess a whole set of abilities that non-dyslexics don’t have, but they are being left behind and made to feel inferior because the public education system only supports the 80% of non-dyslexics in their student population.
Help us tell the story of remarkable women, an exceptional school, determined parents, and brave children overcoming dyslexia.
Come join us November 10 as we say thank you to the men and women who served to protect our freedoms and our home!
A Salute to Veterans is a way for us to thank you to those who are serving and have served in Pickens County and the surrounding upstate. The show is filled with musical talent from across the upstate, inspirational messages from local leaders, and special tributes to veterans in Pickens County. This will be one of our largest shows of the year!
Doors will open following the Veterans Parade and the show is expected to start at 4 p.m. The show is free of charge to all veterans and community members who want to show their support. We are asking that all Veterans register for the parade and the show with the VA office by October 31!
Veterans can register for the event by calling the Pickens County VA office at (864) 898-5926
